Wise remarks from Bono

A recent article on Dr. Gupta's blog was talking about one of my most revered celebrities, Bono.

Bono has been engaging in philanthropic affairs and founded an organization called DATA, which stands for Debt, Aids, Trade, Africa. The mission of DATA is to eradicate AIDS/HIV and poverty of Africa and to advocate public and private support from the rich world, especially America.

During Dr. Gupta's interview with Bono, he said, with candor, it was hard to fly around on private jets to attend lavish parties and also watch someone die for lack of two pills. He reminded us that "we don't have to ask God for a blessing, but rather just go where the poor and misfortunate are, because God is already there."
