USMLE - Step 1 mini-experience

Preparation time: roughly 3 months (12/07-2/08)

12/07: Goljan Audio/Notes
1/08: Goljan Audio/Notes + FA + USMLE WORLD
2/08: FA + USMLEWORLD

Exam Date: March. 04

Goljan: listen to the audio once and study with the notes thereafter
FA: backbone of studying and main material for systematic review

Others: FA Cases for Step 1, BRS Pathology, Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple, HY Anatomy, Underground Clinical Vignette - Biochemistry
(all used as supportive materials, not as important as Goljan and FA)

USMLE WORLD: 67% correct, 100% complete (100-150q daily for 45 days)
NBME Form 3: 570, 1 week prior to the exam

Step 1 Score: 244/99

Based on my experience, for a mediocre IMG ( ranking 30+ at graduation), it is still possible to get a sound score, even if you only got less than 100 days to prepare. Furthermore, I had a 5-day trip to Japan 1 month prior to the exam and a bad sleep 1 day prior. So, RELAX. It's not so horrible. Be confident of yourself. I can do it. And You can do it too.
