An Inconvenient Truth
Deeply touched by Al Gore's efforts and frightened by the horrible effects unrestricted carbon dioxide emission can bring about--elevated sea levels can cause many densely-populated areas to disappear, shrinking Arctic ice cap leads to the extinction of polar bears, global warming results in turbulence in ecosystem, emergence or reemergence of infectious diseases, I decide to "lower my own CO2 production".
By driving less, recycling more, using less hot water, reducing the amount of garbage, regularly turning off electronic devices after use, I can save a great deal of CO2 production.
It's not any single individual's duty, nor any single country's. It depends on everyone who lives on this planet to reverse it.
